Emergency lighting regulations
In an emergency event such as a fire, which requires an emergency escape route, there are strict regulations in place to protect the people inside a building. Emergency lighting must not only be in place but reliable and tested regularly.
M Gladwin Electrical will ensure that a member of your team knows how to check and test the emergency lighting on a regular basis, protecting your team from any potential harm during an emergency.
Emergency exit signs also have specific regulations to follow, such as the height they are attached and ensuring they are up-to-date with the correct symbols.
A full risk assessment must also take place to ensure the lighting is running at its most effective, in full preparation for any kind of power loss.
