The Priory Academy LSST is an OFSTED ‘Excellent’ rated school in Lincoln that is widely regarded as one of the top performing schools in the country.

The project M Gladwin Electrical undertook consisted of two main tasks; the refurbishment of both the existing pavilion block and the sixth form block.

Pavilion Block

This part of the project consisted of converting two changing/shower rooms into classrooms. 

M Gladwin Electrical had to strip out all of the existing shower cubicles, toilets and all existing lighting and power before the new internal finishes such as new lighting, power and data systems could be installed.               

Sixth Form Block

The second part of the project consisted of converting three pre-existing classrooms into one open-plan learning centre.

Again, this meant a full strip out of the existing classrooms and all existing lighting and power.

The internal finishes included new Lighting, power and data systems and a control system for heating the reconfigured space.

The pavilion block and sixth form block also had six smart boards installed between them. These are interactive white boards that are proven to make lessons more dynamic and allow more collaboration and engagement with students.
